WatchFree+ is VIZIO's free streaming service, available right out of the box with no additional devices, fees or subscriptions required. Home to 260+ free channels, providing instant access to live programming including local TV, movies, news, sports, music, kids & family, multicultural, and more. Plus, get access to a library of 6000+ On Demand movies and shows.

You can access WatchFree+ using a variety of different touchpoints:
1. Simply press the WatchFree or WatchFree+ button on your remote control
2. Say “Launch WatchFree” or “Launch WatchFree+” when using VIZIO Voice, the Google Voice Assistant, or Amazon Alexa
3. Select the “WatchFree+” app icon on the home screen within VIZIO Home app bar.
4. Select “WatchFree+” from the top menu on VIZIO Home.
5. Switch to the WatchFree+ input on your VIZIO Smart TV
6. From VIZIO Mobile, launch WatchFree+ from the Apps or Browse tabs

There is no need to download or install an app or channel. WatchFree+ comes on every VIZIO Smart TV for you watch right out of the box. No additional devices or subscriptions are needed.

WatchFree+ users have access to channels curated specially for VIZIO Smart TV owners. Curated channels include food & travel, crime, and “Featured” seasonal programming, themed collections, and exclusive pop-up channels.

Using the WatchFree+ Guide, highlight your favorite channel and then navigate to the column with the channel logo, number, and heart. Press OK to add the channel to your favorites. Access your chosen channels by navigating to the far-left column of categories and choosing Favorites.

Using a remote with VIZIO Voice built in, you can quickly tune to channels by name or number by saying phrases like "Tune to CNN" or "Channel 400." Or download VIZIO Mobile, tap the Voice tab, and issue voice commands with any VIZIO Smart TV.

You are now able to access 300+ free, live channels in the VIZIO mobile app. By updating to version 4.0.0 of the VIZIO mobile app, you will be able to access WatchFree+ Live channels even without a VIZIO TV. WatchFree+ in the VIZIO app is an upgrade to the way you watch live channels. With this launch, you can pick up where you left off on your VIZIO TV at home directly on your phone, so you never miss a second of your favorite show.

Not all WatchFree+ Live channels will be available in the VIZIO mobile app, but 300+ of them will be including 270+ live channels and 30+ local channels. Click on the filter icon below the video and above the guide. This will open the Category Jump feature where you can jump to your favorite of 24 categories of WatchFree+ Live channels.

You can favorite channels in WatchFree+ in the VIZIO mobile app. In the guide, swipe right on the channel icon to expose an empty heart icon. Tap on the empty heart icon, and it will fill indicating that your channel has been favorited. Your Mobile Favorites will remain present on WatchFree+ in the VIZIO mobile app and won't be automatically transferred to your VIZIO TV. You can separately mark your TV Favorites in WatchFree+ on your VIZIO TV using the heart icon.

Yes, you can block content based on age rating. Access parental controls through the Account tab on the bottom right. Then click into the WatchFree+ and select between Family Friendly (G, PG, TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG Age-Appropriate Content), Teens (PG-13, TV-14 Age-appropriate Content), and Adult (All Content).
